Submersible Pump with Frame & Crate
The Grundfos SQ Flex-N series pumps are fitted with MFS-3N motors which are 1.4 kW permanent magnet motors providing superior performance and efficiency. Protection against over-voltage, under-voltage, dry-running, overload and, over-temperature are all standard features.
Your solar submersible pump will be supplied with an electronic controller in a weatherproof enclosure.
This combined system has a wide voltage range, built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) as well as dry-running, voltage and overload protection.
Fixed Solar Array & Pump
(from 2 to 12 panel setups)
A solar pump system can be used with your dam or fountain-scape installation, in remote or electricity-poor locations.
Grundfos software can provide accurate flow details based on the head required, number of panels and pipe size at the location.
The system can provide a flow per hour between 4,000 litres at 7am to 13,000 litres at noon.
The system will only operate in sunlight hours. It is not economically feasible to try and pump in the hours of darkness using batteries and so it is not recommended.
IonGen Clarifier (non-UV)
The IonGen effectively removes algae without the use of traditional liquid chemicals and is designed with a microprocessor that sends a signal to the producing probe, helping to control algae throughout the entire water feature - able to clarify up to 100,000 litres of water. The IonGen is not a steriliser, but a clarifier that uses a copper ioniser.
Lake Fountains & Aerators
Lake features can include Fountains, Aerators and Surface Mixers. By combining the correct nozzle with a suitable pump, a myriad of displays can be created on any small lake or dam.
The image to the right (of a water spout) show just how powerful a solar driven foutain can be, starting at 4000L/hr at first light and exceding 13,000L/hr at noon.
Aquatic Weed Killer
Aquatic Weed Killer is a selective liquid herbicide that controls over 15 major aquatic weeds including floating, emergent and subsurface species.
Aquatic Weed Killer can be applied by tank or backpack sprayer, from the air or by boat (either delivered onto the surface or injected beneath the surface by trailing hoses). When Aquatic Weed Killer makes contact with the green parts of nuisance aquatic weeds (leaves and stems) it is rapidly absorbed producing peroxide that acts like a bleach, desiccating plant tissue and disrupting cell membranes. Aquatic Weed Killer is rapidly removed from the water and deactivated by adsorption onto inorganic and organic compounds in the water and sediments.
Clear water is necessary for best results as suspended soil particles interfere with herbicidal action. A repeat application 7 to 14 days later may be necessary for control of dense infestations. Oxygen depletion of decaying weeds may occur; therefore not more than 1/4 of the area should be treated at once to ensure adequate oxygen supply for fish.
Aquatic Weed Killer can be applied as a dispersible liquid, but it is advisable to use in conjunction with AquaSticker when targeting of submerged weed beds requires more effective placement.
Aqua Sticker
AquaSticker is a light tan powder made up of specialized bacteria, catalysts, and micronutrients designed to upset the normal balance in the microbiota microbial populations. AquaSticker is used as a sticking agent for algaecides in treating algae as well as other cyanobacteria that form benthic mats. AquaSticker sticks to algae and temporarily relaxes the microbiota.
BioStim
Available in a pellet form, BioStim acts much like Lysofoss by boosting the effectiveness of an Algaecide. Thown into the body of water, where it sinks to the sludge below, it acts to improve biological health of the water.
AquaScape Pond Liner and Underlay
The liner is the pond's foundation. Choosing an inferior liner can lead to a leaky pond. We use a fish-safe EPDM pond liner that leads the industry in quality and reliability, backed by their 25 year guarantee.
Underlay is installed to prefvent puncures that may occur from rough rocky ground and roots. It also allows the ground to breathe, allowing earth gases to escape from underneath the liner rather than becoming trapped.

Small Dam Water Filtering
We use tested and field-proven systems for filtering large bodies of water, such as a Small Dam or Small Lake. Using products that were specifically designed to tackle any number of the common issues that plague large scale water features. The system is modular in design, allowing the flexibility to expand the installation to meet most needs.
